How much will a home theather system cost for me?

I would recommend you go online to Home Theater Magazine and read the reviews on speakers and tv. Staying with name brand for better quality and reliability. For receiver I would recommend a Pioneer, Pioneer Elite or the Onkyo. For speakers, Definitive Technology, Energy, Infinity, JBL, Focal, Klipsch and Polk Audio to name a few. I would demo them at your local retail store and bring a cd to listen to and only listen to one song. I have used Pioneer Elite and Onkyo receivers for well over 30 years had have had no problems. For Speakers Martin Logan, Infinity, JBL, Energy and Klipsch, again no complain from any of the speakers. Hope this will help you out.
