Questions about human ancestors and evolution?
Chimps were found to be very warlike and they regularly go out looking to kill any opponents they can find and outnumber. We may have inherited this tendency from our common ancestors with chimps which were not chimps. We are not evolved from chimps. I think the evidence is pretty clear that we didn't evolve from knucklewalkers but that is still disputed. Chimps may have evolved even more than we have from that last common ancestor that was an ape but still not a chimp. Since Orangutan and Gorillas are extremely intelligent, probably similar to chimps, it is apparent that the Hominidae are all extremely intelligent with humans taking the extra leap in language and even greater intelligence.
