If republicans don't think they have more authority on whats constitutional than the supreme court then?

Because the Supreme Court is not always right. Congress and the President are supposed to exercise powers to correct judicial mistakes. If the Court is treated as if it is never wrong, and the mistakes it makes never get corrected by the other two branches utilizing what is suppposed to be "checks and balances," then there really isn't any "checks and balances," are there?
